This item is discontinued and out of stock.  You may want to consider the Monster Dynamic Charger or the Power-Pole CHARGE.  Both products include this emergency-start feature.

Tournament Saver Pro Elite is a Push Button Jumper System. It connects to a trolling motor battery and to the starting battery. If the starting battery becomes too weak to start your main engine, you simply push the button and power is jumped from the trolling motor battery to the starting battery to start the engine.

For as long as there have been bass boats, a dead battery has been a fisherman’s worst nightmare. You either had to wait for a rescue, hobble back to the dock with your trolling motor or hassle with the jumper cables or jump box. On top of all the frustration, you probably missed the weigh in and possibly even lost fish.

Well that is no longer a problem with Tournament Saver Pro Elite. Never worry about missing the tournament or ruining your day on the lake because of a dead battery. With Tournament Saver Pro Elite, you no longer have to leave your seat to fix a dead cranking battery. Just hit the button, start the engine and you are off to your next fishing hole or heading to the weigh in.

The system was developed by Brian and Eric Wendeborn who each have more than 30 years of fishing experience behind them, including tournament fishing. They knew that something had to be done to make a dead battery less of a headache. Well, one thing led to another and now we have the Tournament Saver Pro Elite system. The unit is safe for your boat and your motor and is extremely easy to install and use.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What is Tournament Saver Pro?

It is a push button jumper system. In these days of high tech fishing, many of the electronics, stereos and accessories used by anglers create a large draw on the battery power. Long days of fishing can result in a dead battery when you try to start your boat to head to the weigh in or head to the boat ramp. Tournament Saver Pro can give you the peace of mind to know that you will always be able to start your main engine in less time than it takes to dig out your jump box or jumper cables. You don’t even have to leave the driver’s seat! It also weighs less than a jump box and can save weight in the boat, which any avid angler knows results in more top end speed across the water.

2. How does it work?

It draws power from your trolling motor batteries allowing you to jump your starting battery with the push of a button.

3. Does it work with Lithium batteries?

No. However, you may want to consider using either the Monster Marine Dynamic Charger, or the Power-Pole CHARGE. Both offer an "Emergency Mode" that will crank your boat when your cranking battery dies.

4. Where does it get installed in the boat?

It can be installed in the back compartment (battery compartment) of your boat in a location that allows the connecting wires to reach both the starting and the trolling motor batteries. The push button can be mounted directly in the dash or in easy reach of the driver.

5. Is it hard to install?

No. It can be installed in most boats in less than 2 hours! The unit comes with easy to follow instructions for you to do-it-yourself, or you can have your local dealer install it.

6. How do I use it?

When you attempt to start your main motor and find that it is dead, simply push and hold the power transfer button and turn your key or go through your push button starting pattern at the same time. The engine should start without difficulty.

7. Will it damage my engine or my boat?

No.  The system only transfers enough power from the trolling motor to the starting motor to start the main engine and then it is off. No power is transferred unless the transfer button is depressed.

8. Will it interfere with my electronics?

No.  The power is only transferred when the button is depressed. Unlike other systems, the Tournament Saver Pro does not require a constant ground and is only “on” while the button is depressed. Otherwise, there is no power and no way for power to siphon off the battery to send a charge through the boat to interfere with electronics.

9. My Tournament Saver Pro Elite is not working-why?

If your trolling motor batteries are dead, the TSP will not work. Make sure to charge your batteries before hitting the lake.

10. How long is the warranty on the Tournament Saver Pro Elite?

The warranty of the Tournament Saver Pro Elite is 1 year from the date of purchase. You must register your Tournament Saver Pro Elite to be eligible for warranty service.

11. How do I warranty register my Tournament Saver Pro Elite unit?

You can register the unit by mailing your registration card to:
